This product is simply not worth the money. The radio would not turn on when I first bought it. My first reaction was that maybe I bought a bad egg and replaced it. The second I had about 40 days. The volume of the product is not reduced at all. The volume just increases. Having bought this product twice, I can only give one star. You get what you pay for I guess.

Don't waste your time or Revain's time on posting and returning this item. The CD player has been running for about 24 hours. Radio reception is fuzzy at best. The spring-loaded volume control is smooth and the spring is fully loaded. The device's light weight moves it when you press any of the control buttons. Apart from these things everything is fine. Like I said, don't waste your time. On the other hand, Revain has made it easy to return these very poor quality electronics.

The sound quality isn't bad, but it's not great. The text below the controls is small and hard to read, so I stabbed myself around the neck with a stick and squinted to adjust it from my seated position. Durability was the main issue. It appears that the volume knob sits on some sort of internal spring that could break at any moment. There's little real control, so it was very difficult to get the volume level we wanted. I bought this for my husband's bookshelf in his office which fits the shelf very well. However, the CD won't read discs, and when we managed to get the disc to play, it stopped playing halfway. I really wanted my husband to be able to listen to his CDs and have a digital tunable radio because where we live in the country radio reception is very poor, especially with a rotary tuner. I bought this unit to put in my garage so wasn't looking for a system that would confuse me. It definitely isn't, and for the money I could do better. There isn't much about the system that I like. Two speakers that connect to the back of the main unit. There is a plug for an AUX cable. So if you want to connect an external player instead of using Bluetooth, you can.
