This is exactly what I needed for the wall mounted TV I have in my kitchen. It’s driven via Chromecast, so I only need AC power for the TV and a USB DC power source for the Chromecast. This works perfectly well, but something I’d never considered was that anytime you interrupt or disrupt the USB portion of the plug, it shuts down the Chromecast. Even with no load. It’s not as cool as I thought, as I thought you’d just be able to plug in etc. but not a deal breaker. Straightforward instructions,

I removed the old and replaced it with the new. Having a C type output for my laptop or iPad that charges as fast as the original equipment that came with them is nice too have. And it also includes a USB output as well with a healthy rate of charge too. Everything can be used at the same time but it deflates charge times significantly. UPDATE Dec 7, 2020: I was super happy to report that this thing will charge my 2019 13" Macbook Pro at 30W. It did so for a few hours. However, at some point, it died and now it appears totally dead. No output on either the USB-C or USB-A outlets. USB-PD should negotiate the power level the source device can safely provide to the powered device. This thing offered 30W to the Macbook, but clearly it couldn't provide that for an extended period. It's one thing if it would refuse to charge at 30W…

Installation was fairly easy with the primary 3 wires to insert. Be aware that the wall plate may be smaller than the existing one so you may need to repaint wall. Otherwise, works great for the USB connectors.

It works but the USB and USB-C ports are VERY under powered. It cannot charge my Apple Watch! After leaving the Watch on the charger for the WHOLE day it’s not charged. The outlets work as advertised but not the USB ports.

I bought a set of 10 and installed 2. I was mostly interested in USB C power delivery. 1 outlet didn’t work at all and other one stopped working in a week.Installing them was bit of pain as they are wider than my older outlet.

I'm sorry to say but this product is no good. One of the four plugs has failed. No usb or usb-c charging. I bought a pack of four. If I have to open my walls and remove all four plugs because only one failed, that would be a serious problem!Update: December 7, 2020. USB 110v outlets that don't suck!I have never had a set of these that were not lackluster at best. finally nice to see a real working set.USB C and QC3.0 outputs ! that's how you do it.These are great in the bathroom for chargin up your phoen your razor etc. (most of my stuff is all USB powered for convenience)They seem well built. These outlets are total garbage. I bought two of them. Neither of them have fully functioning USB ports. One of the outlets has already went bad. Going to rip and replace with a different brand

Bought the outlet and it worked for 2 days. Returned and replaced no problem but the second one stopped working after 2 months. Poor quality - beware!

USB-C port (and only the usb-c port) produces buzzing sound when in use. Both outlets in my pack are doing the same thing. Using a dongle plugged into the regular outlet at the moment and have a Levitron (2 usb-c instead of 1 usb-a and 1 usb-c) on the way to replace it.
