Good coverage but limited IOT support

I have this router (Tenda AC1200 Dual Band Gigabit Smart WiFi Router) in the 2nd ft. The router covers about 80% of the house huh is pretty good; The signal breaks through multiple walls to achieve this coverage. (If I could place it on the ground floor closer to the center of the house, I suspect it could cover the whole house.) However, the claim that you "can connect up to 35 wireless devices at a time" appears to be dead wrong. I have close to 100 IoT devices at home (mostly Wi-Fi switches,

Good home router in routers

I bought this to add to my network to manage about 22 Wi-Fi clients but I started losing performance and freezing. So I checked how many customers he can serve, they said 10. That doesn't help me, I have to go back. It sure makes a great home router too as it provides a GOOD Wi-Fi signal even through 3 concrete walls with steel. I ordered another router that costs more and can serve 30 clients. This is not a bad router, so you can buy it for a home network with a maximum of 10 clients so as not

Decent value for money

Firstly I have a lot of experience with routers, switches, modems, WAP etc. I was a bit wary of paying only 49.00 for a 3 gigabit port router/wifi. I was afraid you would get what you paid for. However, I didn't want to rob my bank to extend my WiFi 60 feet into my backyard. Please take a look at the photos I have included to help you with your decision. Also remember that not every home is created equal. Some of them are made of brick, plaster, wood, drywall, etc. Every home allows an "X” for…

Very impressed with the performance.

Excellent value for money! I needed extra coverage for my long garden. The extra antenna gain along with beamforming has really improved the coverage and speed (x6). Websites load quickly and the latency is better than before. The interface is simple and getting the repeater feature working was an easy 1 minute job. Tip: When working in repeater mode, the web interface disappears. Make sure you rename your router the same as your home WiFi before choosing repeater mode, as there's nothing you…

Good tech support, average signal strength

The router has a decent signal but disappears as you move away from it (signal cuts out at about 10 meters). That's to be expected from a router this small, no big deal. I had trouble setting up my router as the internet didn't show that it was connecting. I've already set the WiFi username and password, but it didn't connect using the default PPPoE connection setup. I called Tenda tech support and a representative named Wudi helped me set it up. The issue was addressed by switching the…
