🌡️ Digital Rectal Temperature Thermometer Review

Great product and fast rectal reading, easy to switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius. I heard they are water sensitive but I cleaned them with rubbing alcohol and no problem. Just don't submerge it in water and you'll be fine.

I would give this 5 stars but I just wish they had added a warning to people. This type of tip inserts is made of hard plastic, not soft material, and has no creases. So unless you have an animal that sits still for you, it could damage the rectal area. But I personally like it for my county

They are great - calibrated for dogs and cats, VERY FAST, easy to use, easy to change batteries. We used to use cheap digital thermometers and constantly replaced them, now I doubt the accuracy of the readings we got on them. I am happy with my purchase, I hope it lasts a long time!

I had to put horses where I sat several times a day during the choke. So easy to use I bought one for a barn owner who had 6 himself temporarily (in cold weather). The small thermometers you buy at the pharmacy only last a few days with lithium batteries. This product uses regular batteries and lasted several weeks before they were replaced. And no chance of losing it in the horse!

I purchased this thermometer as part of a horse first aid kit to keep in the stable where I stable my horse; hoping it won't be needed. One of the coaches needed him on the second day and he has been used several times since then. It's FAST, easy to use, and secure (no need to worry about losing it in the process). I highly recommend it. Horses don't always like having their temperature taken. This makes the process easier and reduces stress for animals and humans!

I ordered this thermometer because my Sharpei is suspected of having Sharpei fever. When I tried to use it, it gave me a score of 100.2, which isn't exactly a fever.
