When there is simply no room for a "normal " ratchet.

They are so cute and small, almost weird. I work on things with a lot of limited space and that's useful sometimes. I don't understand the reviewers complaining about how tiny they are, the title literally says "micro". The quality seems ok but two keys for 23 bucks or so I say it's a really good deal.

Ideal for tight spaces.

I really like these ratchets for several reasons. First, their tiny size. This allows them to get to places that conventional ratchets cannot access. Another aspect of the design that helps with this is that they lock into place with almost any movement. This helps when you don't have much tool clearance and other ratchets need a few degrees of movement just for the pawl to re-engage the teeth. . Of course, that means they're lightweight, so just use them accordingly.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Functional tool: hand tools

So far they work as intended. The fit and finish of these instruments is very poor, they are on par with Chinese instruments. There were a few imperfections in the finish of the chrome finish and the look through appears to be a point of failure. I wouldn't buy them again unless you have a very specific purpose and just this tool will do. There are many other shorter ratchets and higher quality ratchets for working in tight spaces.

I like them in 3 " and 4 " lengths

Well done! I like that they are 3 and 4 inches long. My shortest 1/4 ratchet is a 4 3/4" ratchet. If the sk was too long I used a sliding T-handle. For example, my dining table has hollow columns that connect to a stretcher. The connecting nut was located itself in the column near the bottom. There is no room to turn a regular length ratchet 1/4 turn. I used a sliding T-handle which was awkward to use to tighten the nut. I used the small 3"-Tested direct fit and may oscillate there.

Excellent wrenches

The materials and workmanship of these ratchets are first class. Backward resistance is light and steady, and forward force is negligible. These ultra-compact ratchets are designed to work in tight spaces and with light to moderate power. They allow you to work by touch when your hand is deep in a cramped machine, in situations where a traditional ratchet just won't work. I'm often frustrated when, in tight, hose-filled spaces, I bump into the shift lever of a regular ratchet with every turn…

Nice little ratchet. you need a sentence

I LOVE these ratchets. Only work in one direction and the tiny size makes them phenomenal to work under the dash "by touch". There is no toggle lever to get in the way and switch off during operation by pressing the ratchet with your palm. The 1/4 drive is barely enough to keep the head on the ball of my thumb and the grip at thumb length, allowing me to tighten or pull fasteners in tight spots enough to get a little more torque on them than I can with my gimbal Ratchet. This is definitely my…

I've been using a 1/4" drive nut driver for almost ten years. The last one I picked up was an unnamed one from a barter box for about $12. Eventually the square socket lock on it failed, it became one of my favorite tools at work and at home, hobby and auto repair.I LOVE the compact nature of the handle in hard to reach places and it serves to limit the torque at first so as not to damage the mechanism. Please don't think about the breaker!Because the direction switching was a little clunky I…
