Not hard enough: cover

Fits great. The wide belly band is great. Stable Velcro fasteners are great. However, it broke within 1 week. No durable canvas / more material like. The elastic bands were great.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Generally ok, but...

Canvas/wool duvet runs small

Not bad for a budget duvet. Too small for the size ordered. Put it on a smaller horse and it works, but the sides are pretty short. I love the canvas and wool combo and would happily pay more for a better finish.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Very nice but back.

It was a good product but it was not delivered on time. We sent it back. We already had one and wanted to double it when the weather hit Texas so unexpectedly, but with all that ice and everything that was closed we didn't make it in time.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not bad

Worst blanket to buy.

This duvet was probably one of the worst decisions I could have made. Looked good from the front but only worn one day and both leg straps are broken which wouldn't be a big problem but the blanket slips so much it's now impossible to use without it. I will never buy a hard 1 product again. I had bad luck with them before and with this blanket I no longer trust their products. Just 1 day on a very docile pony and I've already lost a useless blanket and $50.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

I would not buy again!

Bought it for the price before reading the reviews. Not my usual mo but I have a rescue horse and it has never been covered before so I went with the cheapest option in case he rips it to pieces on day one. Well, after a week he likes it. So was I until it rained last night and now I have a wet pink horse. It didn't even rain that hard (less than 1/4 inch) but it got soaking, and in 30 degree weather it got a little wet. See the photo - the paint flowed down his legs - and moved to my coat…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Socket required
