More than I expected.

, I wanted to wear a fairly light terry cloth bathrobe after a swim, but this product has too heavy a texture to use for that. The quality of the bathrobe is really good but I'm too heavy to use it after swimming in the pool. So I have to say I'm a little disappointed with it, but too heavy for me as I'm only 5'2" tall. Sorry to say this, but I'm a little disappointed, for the first time in years, that I ordered through Revain.com.

Lightweight Bathrobe in Underwear, Sleep & Relax

I was disappointed with how thin this bathrobe was and immediately sent it back. I ordered this bathrobe to replace a very luxurious terry cloth bathrobe that I received as a gift a few years ago. I have since learned that terry cloth is priced by weight per meter of fabric. My old bathrobe was 24 ounce terry cloth. It's probably in the 12-14 ounce range - like a cheap towel from Walmart. While nice and soft.

While I love this robe, and mind you this is the first terrycloth robe I've ever owned, I'm not 100% satisfied and here's why. I think it runs small, maybe my fault, but judging by her measurements it should fit. And it fits well, a little tight but still good, it closes at the front, that's what matters. I would have liked a little more space, but perhaps stopping at average was worth it. Second, the loop came, I had to change it, not a big problem, but a slight inconvenience for something…

Overall not bad.

Bathrobe is very comfortable and soft, in general I am very satisfied with it. The sizing is right and the construction is very well suited to my needs to keep me warm and covered. My only two small issues are that the sleeves are a few inches longer than I would like. This makes it difficult to eat or cook in a bathrobe, you either have to roll up your sleeves or take off the bathrobe. The second problem is even smaller. This bathrobe is comfortable to wear and has hardly shrunk since I washed it.

I'm male, muscular, 5'6", about 178 pounds, chest 42". Sleeve length and robe length from shoulder to bottom hem. After washing and line drying the robe once, it came to about two inches below the knee and the sleeve length is perfect. I don't need to roll up my sleeves at all. I think a plus size robe would be too big for me. No further shrinkage should occur as long as I stay away from hot dryers.
