These products have served me well in Hong Kong's varied climates for the past two years, during which time I have used them extensively.   • I purchased four access points, two of which operated at 2.4 GHz and two at 5 GHz. Within a week, I was required to make a warranty replacement for one of the access points. It restarted itself for no apparent reason, and replacing the firmware or the power source had no effect. Good design and excellent software stability

It took a bit of fiddling to get into the initial setup menu and one of them required a hard reset to work. But once you figured out how to connect (internet videos help a lot), installation was easy and has been running for about 3 weeks with no issues or reboots. Hence -1 star for the ease of setup. Setting up a cloud key might make this easier, but I don't know as I don't have one.

The unit worked great but stopped working in less than a month

So I installed it about 2 miles from my house to my parents house. It took a bit of work, but when we finally got it working, it worked. Stable 5MB download and 3MB download from this distance. After a few rainy days, the device stopped working. I can't believe the structure was defective enough for water to enter. For such a device and cost, it should be built better.

Good work. best wireless access points

I have 2 houses that are 500 feet apart. One of them is too far from the mast so the cable company won't connect services to it, so the only option was to connect DSL, which is only 3Mbps (compared to cable speed of 100-150Mbps ). It took me 1 hour to install and I configured the DSL modem and router combo to use the WAN port and it worked exactly the same in the same house. Great for RV WiFi Access

There are about a dozen cell towers in the park for WiFi distribution. I stay in a metal cladding park model which does a very good job of attenuating the wifi signal from the towers so the reception inside is terrible. I installed a Ubiquiti Nanostation M5 on my roof, pointed it at one of the towers, set it up and connected it to my WiFi router inside. Bought a pair of these to replace a solution I put together a few years ago that eventually died.
