Die-cast aluminum shell, anti-shock, and moisture-proof and has stronger durability.New and Old label is being changed, but the products are same. Note: It is recommended to use stable DC power for the input power supply If you use the pulsed DC power provided by the generator, please filter it with capacitor before connecting it to the converter. If you use solar panel to supply directly, please note that the open circuit voltage of the solar panel cannot exceed the maximum withstand voltage of the converter. Ideal for 6V fuel gauge

I installed this in my '53 Chevrolet to power the fuel gauge. The rest of the car is converted to 12 volts but I kept the factory fuel gauge which required 6 volts. I screwed it to the firewall and powered it with the ignition switch. Works great with no problems.

Perfect aftermarket solution for the Rat Rod heater in my WW2 Ford truck. Fast delivery at a good price. Would buy again if needed. Good quality, thank you.

Totally useless - they put out 1/10 to 1/4 volts - a huge waste of time and money - AVOID - AVOID - AVOID

Bought 2 of these to use a 12v solar panel which puts out around 20v in bright sunlight as I use the panel to charge 6v batteries. After connecting them I tried one and then the other - neither of them output more than 1/4 volt. Obviously this is not enough to calculate anything. Instead I had to put the 6v batteries in series and charge them directly from the 12v solar panel and remove the 6v battery from one of the batteries to power the trail camera.
