USB Controller Data/Fax Modem - Compatible for Windows 8.1, 8, 7, XP & MacOS Intel 10.9 to MacOS Intel10.10 (Not for Mac-OS Intel 10.12-10.13, Windows 10). External 56K USB Modem- Data transfer rates up to 56Kbps (down) and 33.6Kbps (up), Fax transfer rates at 14.4Kbps. Add dial-up support to a laptop, or desktop computer when broadband access is not available. Powered directly from the host USB port, full speed (12MHz) USB interface, compatible with USB 2.0. Note: Incompatible for Mac OS Intel 10.12 Mac-OS Sierra or 10.13 High Sierra although there is stil a way to fax from Sierra and High Sierra with a modem.

Works without additional drivers on Raspberry PI 3

It was plug and play on my Raspberry PI 2 and 3. I bought 3 of these, one broke down after about 4 months of use but the customer support has been great and they sent me a replacement with no problems. Overall, I'm glad they were easy to run on the Raspberry PI.

5 (Maverick) according to the manufacturer "Plug and play for easy installation on Windows XP/7/8

My experience with the V.TOP modem was not what I expected. for Operation with Mac OS 10.9.5 (Maverick) according to the manufacturer "Plug and Play", compatible for easy installation under Windows XP/7/8.x, Mac OS 10.9 to 10.10. (Not for macOS 10.12-10.13, " tested with other borrowed modems so I know my system is working, it shows up ("sees") in Mac's system report, but doesn't transmit, despite many items I've tested, including I' due to the excellent response of the seller I give it 2 stars

IT WORKS ! in Modems

This is the easiest modem to set up (for Win7). I connect to 3 posts for cooling controller information and this is probably my third USB 56K modem. No installation disk required. Win7 found and installed the driver in less than 10 seconds. Recommended !

Excellent fax modem for networking products

My windows 7 fax modem is not working on win 10. I don't need fax access often, but it's one of those things you need when you need it. I ordered this item which arrived quickly, plugged in the usb and got access to a phone line and win 10 plug and play and I was sending out faxes in less time than it took less time than I was writing this review wrote. It worked great.
