Description of ⚡ Valefod XL6009: 6-Pack DC to DC Boost Converter 3.0-30V to 5-35V Step-up Transformer Power Module

The XL6009 module is a non-isolated step-up voltage converter featuring adjustable output voltage and new generation(XL6009E1 core chip) high-frequency(400KHZ) switching technique, the performance is much better than LM2577. Designed for multiple practical applications that need a boost voltage, such as DIY an output adjustable mobile power, temporarily set up power supply in the outdoor, charge your electronic devices etc. Input Voltage: DC 3V to 30V (optimum working voltage range is 5V to 30V). Output Voltage: DC 5V to 35V (continuously adjustable), maximum output current is 4A. Ultra-compact power module with simple operation. Using a mini screwdriver to step up / down output voltage by turning slotted screw on the blue trimpot, and monitor voltage with multimeter to achieve the expected voltage, clockwise to reduce voltage and counterclockwise to increase voltage. (1 circle means +/- 1V).

East to build: Power Accessory

Simply connect the DC power adapter to the marked entry points and follow the instructions. A word of caution, the output is set for maximum output voltage, so you should re-adjust the output setting potentiometer before connecting to the device.

Pros
  • Perfect for a small home
Cons
  • Damaged

Product not working

I see positive reviews but just want mine to work. I took my time soldering all the wires before realizing they didn't work at all. Am I missing something? I've used voltage multipliers before and they were pretty basic.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • weak

Better than building one

Works well, I've only tested between 3.6-12 volts but so far it's working. They aren't magic though, they need to supply enough current to power whatever you plug it into. Works great with batteries or partially as an AC power source.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No

Excellent products suitable for power accessories

This is a very useful power regulation product, if I bought it as a charging source, it is not suitable for a charging source, that's for sure, maybe it lies on it lithium. Ion batteries, what is the max amperage, but as far as power control goes, I would recommend this

Pros
  • Solid workmanship
Cons
  • Good but not great

Can give but not climb (AA)

The product has some parts with loose connections, particularly on the converter box. After connecting 2 AA batteries I followed the instructions to increase the voltage and nothing happened but when I turned the other way the voltage was able to be reduced. While it was able to drop the voltage, that wasn't my reason for buying it, so I gave it a low rating. The item was well packaged and arrived on time.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • So far so good

Great little boost converters!

These DC-DC boost converters do what they were designed to do. I wanted to know the lower limit of these converters, so I connected a power supply to the input side and a multimeter to the output side to test it. I then applied a random voltage of 10 volts just to make sure the converter was on. I then adjusted the potentiometer until the output was 14 volts as a reference example. (Adjust the potentiometer clockwise to decrease the output voltage, and adjust the potentiometer counterclockwise…

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • Security
