Review on ⚡ Valefod XL6009: 6-Pack DC to DC Boost Converter 3.0-30V to 5-35V Step-up Transformer Power Module by Tyrone Lyons

These DC-DC boost converters do what they were designed to do. I wanted to know the lower limit of these converters, so I connected a power supply to the input side and a multimeter to the output side to test it. I then applied a random voltage of 10 volts just to make sure the converter was on. I then adjusted the potentiometer until the output was 14 volts as a reference example. (Adjust the potentiometer clockwise to decrease the output voltage, and adjust the potentiometer counterclockwise to increase the output voltage). 5.0 volts while the converter output remained at a constant 14 volts as shown. Finally, I adjusted the power supply until an instability appeared at the output of the converter, which happened at 3.3V. Attention, but as shown, the output of the converter jumped to 47 volts! Basically keep the converter input above 4 volts and you should be fine. After about an hour of operation, I could not detect any heat dissipation at all. Great price for these little converters too!
