Useful product, with a few caveats

This is what I was looking for, double sided (Velcro and loops) Velcro with adhesive backing on both sides, for permanent, temporary or removable attachment of frames, LED night lights, remote controls on the walls, whatever. It seems to work well, but there are two caveats: 1. More importantly, depending on the surface you're sticking the adhesive piece to, the stickiness of the velcro may be stronger than the adhesive. So if you try to remove it, the adhesive may come off sooner than theโ€ฆ

I can't say how well this works since the plastic backing is completely glued on.

For some reason, be it bad storage, an old product, poor quality control or any other reason, the plastic backing is fully adhered to the adhesive backing. I'm not saying it's hard to remove. If the backing peels off easily, it would still be difficult to grab the plastic backing, which is thinner than paper, to peel it off. What I mean is that even if you have a sizable plastic tab to pull on, it takes so much effort to separate the backing from the velcro that there are only two options: youโ€ฆ

They are not very strong

Almost all of these were used for one of my projects. The problem is that the glue isn't the strongest. I cut the roll into lots of little pieces to later stick on my ziplock bags and plastic wrap. So they can be easily solved. I later realized that this thing doesn't last long. If you accidentally take them off to change their place, you will see that the adhesive loses its stickiness. Therefore, if you loosen the velcro, the whole thing will most likely come loose as well. As a result, youโ€ฆ
