Nice addition to Taboo!

In general, the idea is wonderful! My friends and I love Taboo and it's a great addition to our game. The number of tickets for the price is a bit sad :(. But other reviewers mentioned it so it wasn't a surprise.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Without machine

Buy both versions and mix them together

The game was really fun. Everyone liked it. I bought both versions and blended them together to smooth out the harshness. Rules for the transmission of words were not fully understood. A few words none of us had heard before, but not many. All in all a great, fun, compact game to throw in your purse.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Only available in white

Good, not so good in games and accessories

NSFW cards are actually not that bad after playing cards against humanity for so long I was expecting much more complex cards/terms. When you get an awkward card, it's really fun to try and describe. I wish it had more rough cards, if #3 comes out please make them naughty as it's more fun. NSFW is misleading as many maps are perfect for the job.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Fits

Highly recommended, best games and accessories

I went through a playthrough before my deck broke. Useless as I was the party host, I really liked the game and ended up keeping my copy to myself. I had to order a second one. Any crowd with 8+ accounts who appreciate Cards Against Humanity and don't have to worry about shouting out blasphemous assumptions will likely have a blast. It's way better than just a clumsy turtle (original green box).

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great game but not as good as the first

I liked the first deck so I was excited when I got this deck but I was a bit disappointed to find that a lot of words in this one Deck are repeated from the beginning. The first. In addition, there are some really obscure words that none of us knew, and one word that we still don't know the definition of even after searching the internet and studying the city dictionary. I'm not sure I would buy it again. It's still a fun game, but it doesn't do much good if you already have your first deckโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Security

Gross, disgusting, SO funny!

I played this game with my family over Thanksgiving. I agree with the other reviewer that I was expecting more than a deck of cards BUT using the timer on our phones (which was attached to it anyway) wasn't a big deal. We had so much fun playing this game. I'm 30, played with relatives when I was 50 and 19. We all laughed like crazy. There are some "there" words/phrases that we looked up out of unhealthy curiosity (at your own risk). This game was so much fun that we planned a game night withโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Protection

Will challenge even those with the skills

The great thing about Awkward Turtle (version 1 or 2) is that it's a very fun and challenging game at the same time. The first version is actually more difficult than the second, the crazier of the two. This game is played in teams and we look forward to playing it with more than two teams. The better your team's vocabulary, the better your team will be. I hope Awkward Turtle will continue to expand in the future because it's a great and compact game. You can take it with you when you travelโ€ฆ

Pros
  • A one-year trial period
Cons
  • So-so
