🥶 Wagan 12V Cooler/Warmer - 24L Capacity (Model 6224) - EL6224 Review

Bought this as a gift for a relative and tested it when it arrived. As you can see from the picture, it was 75 degrees in my room. I turned on the cooler and left. When I checked it 30 minutes later it dropped to 40 degrees. The manufacturer's statement is correct.

It worked great for 3 months and then caught fire in my truck! I use it 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, never had any problems. Then I felt something burn, I look at the back seat, and it smokes, when I turned it off, it was already burning at the switch. The fuse has never blown. DO NOT TRUST THE FUSE. Luckily I was in my truck when it happened.

We bought one, it broke, no longer works. Rewan was great. They sent us a new replacement and when my husband came home in the truck for 3 weeks we sent it back. But after a few months the replacement stopped working. Again, Revain was amazing and gave us our money back. Bought another cooler but not this one.

Works great. I use it once a week when traveling to Idaho from Washington state. It keeps food very cold and has frozen my yogurt once. The reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the construction of the cable. It is not removable and the place where it is stored is very light and the locking mechanism broke in less than a week. So when I carry it to the car, I have to be careful not to pull on the cable. My husband has been using this product for four days now. He works in commercial construction. He takes his lunch out of the fridge, puts it in the fridge, and then puts it back in his pocket every morning after he goes shopping. Morning lows at 50 this week, highs at 78. I love this cool box! We used it on a long 2 week minivan trip. This has easily saved us over $500 in restaurant expenses, allowing us to save money and eat healthier by shopping for groceries every 1-2 days.
