Exactly what I needed

I've used different brands of chain and Xpel is my new favorite. Adhesion is good, but what makes it better than the competition is its flexibility. Can be stretched to the degree you want, so as not to deform the tape, but can form a curve. I used this on a ZL1 front bumper which probably doesn't have a flat surface. Ran like clockwork; very happy with Xpel Band. I will use this in the future

Very difficult to fit

I am using this product as a temporary fix until I put a permanent guard on the front clip of my new car. The installer is backed up for months, so they suggested I install it temporarily to protect the color. XPEL said it can stay in place for up to 3 months. I've had mine for about a month now. I think it does the job of protecting my paintwork but installation was a nightmare. It took both of us 3 hours to install the small piece that goes to the front edge of the hood. Works great but expensive

Feature: Yes Tracwrap works no doubt. I autocross with big sticky tires and I tend to throw rocks at the paint causing chipping. I had ZERO chips where I placed the tape. I have installed and used it on track, track and street with no problems. Cost: It's expensive. Let's face it, you're paying to prevent paint chipping, so it's worth it. Unfortunately, this is not a permanent solution, so the cost per use increases quickly. The long-term solution is to attach a permanently installed paint…
