It is a decentralized game built on the ethereum platform, it is currently available in a new version that was released to the market last year. This game has a similarity to other games like pokemon and cryptokitties that the mechanics is the same as raising and training the mons for future battles where the best trained and strengthened will gain commercial value that increases as they win their opponents. The game is made to last a limited time for now there is a limited amount of mons to capture, this does not mean that a change does not occur in the not too distant future.
