Solid Upgrade for My Truck!

The Armordillo grille I purchased for my Silverado is a beast! The black powder coating makes it look aggressive and it feels super durable. According to my experience, the installation was a breeze and it fit perfectly. It definitely gives my truck a more rugged look while still protecting the front end. The only downside I see is that it's a bit pricey compared to other options, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. Overall, I'm super happy with my purchase and would highly…

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting construction
Cons
  • Might not fit other truck models

Maybe next time pay a little more for a better part.

I ordered a black grille but the brackets were silver and looked awful. The bull rod will not fit properly in the brackets when everything is bolted to the car. After final assembly, the handlebar will feel weak and move like a jack-knife with minimal manual force. I thought it would be strong/sturdy with big brackets. Hopefully it doesn't vibrate or make noise when the car moves.

Pros
  • Grille and brush guard
Cons
  • No power

This was for a 2013 Tahoe. This was mainly for cosmetic purposes and once installed it looks fine. The brackets are so tight to the frame rails that installing them requires many hammer blows, which is very difficult due to the narrow space under the car. Also, the angle on the frame mounts does not match the angle on the stem mount. This required bending (more hammer blows!) which worked but took longer. I like the bar in general, it's a shame that the manufacturer couldn't put a little more…
