🚽 Upgrade Your Bathroom with a Modern Design Toilet Tank Flush Lever Handle Replacement: Universal, Front Mount, Chrome Review

After going to Home Depot several times to have a toilet side handle replaced to no avail, I finally ordered this handle and it worked! Home Depot sells some that can be used for front, side, or corner lavatories, but they are only for front lavatories. I spent several hours trying to get it to work and was just frustrated. I just ordered this side mount and it took 10 minutes to install.

I bought this lever 16 months ago. It broke this week due to rust (see photos) and had to be replaced with another product. Please consider spending a few bucks more for a better product to reduce waste and environmental impact. Thanks very much!

The price was right and installation was easy. The grip I replaced, which lasted over 20 years, had a square hard plastic insert that fitted into the tank. Instead there is a square rubber insert on the handle and I don't think it will last very long, I hope I will be pleasantly surprised. I had to file a square notch on my tank and then apply petroleum jelly to both the handle and the tank to complete the installation.

The flush lever in my toilet was plastic so of course it only lasted a couple of years before it broke. This was installed by a plumber for a $75 set-up fee. I decided to try and fix it myself and I found this handle flush. It fits great, works and is not plastic. There are instructions that give you some alternative suggestions to help you through the installation if you run into problems. Great item, great seller, great price. Thank you!

It seems to be of decent quality. The installation takes a few minutes. I've read a review or two that the handle with the washer attached is too wide to fit the toilet tank and either remove the washer or widen the hole in the toilet tank. This problem (at least in my case) was solved by first installing the gasket in the toilet tank, then slipping the handle through the gasket hole in the tank and tightening the supplied nut until snug. My toilet handle broke at the worst possible moment considering what was going on. I don't feel like shopping right now, so I ordered it. I was stuck to remove the cap and force a hand flush in the tank until I got this replacement. I have just returned a replacement I purchased from Home Depot, Fluid Master Universal Cistern Lever.
