Don't use 2 piece eyebolts

Didn't split like others said. But don't use two-piece firing pins because you'll break that crappy chrome cap in the socket in half. If you have a vice, it's pretty easy to get them out with a hammer and a screwdriver. Then you need to remove the rest of the cap and use the smaller head.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Expensive

Some have worked, some have not, but it's worth it if they actually work.

Bought 4 pieces. One worked fine to remove a stripped nut from my Jeep Cherokee wheel but then I couldn't get the nut out. Two of them cracked without removing the lugnats. I think it's a 50/50 deal, sometimes they work and then pay more than themselves and sometimes they break or don't work, in which case you lose money. A pro shoots lugnuts at a very high price, so it might be worth a try.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • There are problems

Remove Those Bars Like a Boss

So if you don't have a vise, you know these are single-use screwdrivers. The key is to use a regular ratchet and get it to grab a few times. Then make sure you apply a lot of pressure, maybe 500 pounds per minute or a big crusher. And make sure it is adjusted to the left like a ratchet. It detaches after it stops spinning and you're back in action. If you don't have superhero gorilla power or a vice you'll probably throw this in the trash, but you saved an hour of mechanic's work, so it's aโ€ฆ

Work great! Best Accessories and Parts

This was my last resort after trying to remove the keyhole/overtightening the Macgard nut that was installed by the previous owner. I started using a percussion gun to screw the bushing onto the nuts, then I used a broken bar and turned it counter clockwise and was able to loosen the nut! such a relief. Based on the review, I saw some of them break, so I carefully rotated them counter-clockwise. I'm fed up with another nut extractor, but it doesn't work for rounded nuts like the McGard Lockโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Fits me perfectly
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Works with impact wrench

This worked on my Ford Fusion after the tire shop overtightened the lugs when changing the tyre. The chrome cap of the first two is in the socket. I put a vise in the cap and put the impact wrench, socket and vise on the floor to remove the cap. Once or twice I just used a socket and an impact wrench to loosen the nut. I drove a flat head screwdriver into the caps and removed them with a vise. Then I used a smaller outlet. On the last; I drove a screwdriver into the cap and removed it beforeโ€ฆ
