Works great on stainless steel

This worked really well to cut my exhaust pipe. Not super fast, but less work is better than a hacksaw. Keep an eye on the disc as it wears out and wears out.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons

Very Bad Discs for Power Tool Parts and Accessories

Warning! Dremel doesn't make them. I've been using Dremel #426 heavy duty wheels for years with great results, so I figured these bigger, thicker wheels would be better. Well it isn't. I used both types of discs on the same job and they (#456) wore out four times faster than discs with #426. That sucks.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Useless Features

Much better than stock

These cutting discs are the best you can buy on a Dremel. They are about 1/4 inch larger in diameter than those that come in sets with a variety of bits and last about 4 times longer than cheaper cut-off wheels. If you do metal cutting like nails or screw heads, or light cutting work, these discs are worth the investment. I've cut through about 2 dozen screw heads with a single washer and the washer is practically unworn.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Cut well BUT, on the second disk the washers took forever to snap, I was able to use the rest of the disk to the limit but the screw would not unscrew so there is no way to save the remaining 8 drives to use. NOT to mention it permanently blocked my mandrel, I'm just happy I have more than one otherwise it would have ruined all use of my dremel until I bought another one online. NET; -8 discs, -1 collet. Now I have to buy a whole different set so I can use these washers on these rims too? Willโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 1 year probationary period
Cons
  • nothing

Seriously, WTH can't handle these washers, Dremel?

Cuts just as well as the smaller (and much easier to buy) 426 wheels Includes a set of two washers that you MUST use. One is just a washer and the other has a nipple that fits into the hole in the washer, with a hole in the center of the nipple that is the size of a regular Dremel arbor screw. My pucks had a nipple that stuck out a bit too far so this mess couldn't be blocked properly. Fixed five seconds with a file and from that point the wheels worked fine. Each package comes with a set ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Almost OK
