Lots of brake dust, little noise

I bought this for my HPDE. This is normal and generally recommended for beginners, but as your speed increases, HP+ becomes insufficient.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Working speed

These rubbers are excellent for autocross

These rubbers are excellent for autocross. They get a little dusty but when broken in properly I don't hear them squeak, just a little under 5mph and the sound bounces off other cars.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Negative impression

Works great on the track and on the street.

Works great, no question. I've had great results with these pads with a Motul RBF600 on a race car and they didn't go away all day. I also use them outdoors sometimes and the only (minor) problem is a small squeak.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There are nuances

Good surfaces for street, autocross, race track. Lots of dust.

Good autocross and track brake pads for city use. The downside is that they produce a lot of dust and may not work on long workouts or hot days. Lubricate the brake pads to eliminate the squeak.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Useless features

Persistent but noisy on the tram.

I have this on my S2000. It's a daily ride but they've seen track day in the AMP and held up well. These pads are also very grippy in cold weather. I had to recalibrate my foot after putting them on, even for daily driving, to avoid whiplash. They squeak under light braking (e.g. going through a red light), otherwise they would have gotten 5 stars. We also use HP+ on our 24 hour lemon car and get 75+ hours of racing from them.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great on the track, avoid on the road

I bought these for my s2000 for a day at the track and they have held up great. However, they are extremely noisy outside. The squeak is very loud, often when the car is parked in front of a large group of people (it's a little embarrassing to see them flinch at the loud squeal). I knew they were loud when I bought them, but I didn't realize how loud they really are. People don't exaggerate. The brake dust is also terrible, but I can live with that. Don't buy them for the street.

Pros
  • Consistent in testing
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Good HPDE pads; not good for the road

Bought these pads for my S2000 for the HPDE season this year. That's what I think. Pros: Great stopping power, great pedal feel, good heat resistance (more than enough for HPDE 1). Cons: Dust, noise at street speeds/pedals. For my current needs, the HP+ is perfect. On my final day of track they didn't go away, stopping lap after lap with confidence. Take it for granted that I'm in HPDE 1, I wasn't driving that fast. However, the HPS I used last year started to fade after only three laps at the…
