This bike rack is meant to hold up to 4 e-bikes, firstly this rack is very heavy, I would say at least 120 lbs. I had read many reviews before purchasing and was aware of the problems some had with lifting hooks. Knowing this, once installed we fitted a ratchet around all of the bikes and set up the bikes as directed. We have ridden from California to South Carolina and back with 4 bikes on the rack including 2 e bikes with great success.
