I've finished working on it - don't worry

As far as I can tell there are no instructions. Could these people creating multilingual documentation combine all English? Am I asking that much? I'm not sure I found all the documentation in English. What I found wasn't very helpful. I have three USB printers. HP 1020, Cannon iP3500 and Samsung CLP-310. I've done the setup as best I can and only the Samsung CLP-310 works (well, I just printed a test page). I'm wondering if it's worth a sequel. I spent a few hours getting what I did and I want

Excellent print server

I tried 2 other print servers, one from Linksys and one from D-Link and they were very unreliable. The D-Link block had to be restarted periodically, and it ended up just dying one day. The Linksys division required constant reboots, and the software they developed was a mess. Works with CUPS, Linux, LPD/LPR and IPP

I use this print server 24/7 in an industrial environment. Labels are printed using a Zebra label printer via a print server. While many label printers have a built-in print server, I need the flexibility to switch between printers if the printer fails rather than setting up a network on the printer. The printer only needs a USB connection, nothing needs to be configured except to turn it off and on again. This print server is easy to set up. I have an added bonus; it has two (2) USB ports. In…

German support, cheers!

The print server is very easy to connect, but that's where the simplicity ends. Configuration is not as easy as advertised and support for this product is in German. Do you need to be bilingual to set up this product? Return to the drawing board for this product or the recycle bin.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No required form
