Perfect color! for gravel

My 8 year old grandson decided to decorate his room in neon orange (his favorite colour) for his birthday. Didn't know how to change his tank to fit in his room. This stone was perfect. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Pet supplies
Cons
  • Not bad

everything is fine as the stars say

delivery was great, arrived a few days after ordering, although they said it would take much longer. However, the color of the gravel is not the same as shown. It's much lighter and nothing special. Petco's is just as orange and a few dollars less. if you buy much less in stores. Don't waste your money just worrying about fast shipping.

Pros
  • aquarium substrate
Cons
  • high price

Lots of gravel

This was the cheapest way for me to add gravel to my crab tank. I breed crayfish, so the aquarium needs constant cleaning and updating. It just took me a bit to redo the gravel floor in the tank and it was perfect. For me this was the cheapest way as I have mobility issues. Only one store in our area sells this and it's more expensive than that! I highly recommend this unless you need a large load of gravel.

Gravel is toxic to fish!

This gravel is toxic to fish and killed my Chinese Algae Eater. Less than 24 hours after setting up a 10 gallon aquarium with this gravel, my fish (2 platys, 3 tetras, 1 molly and 1 Chinese algae eater) started gasping for air and became more and more desperate over time. I've discarded all possible reasons why they might not have enough air. It couldn't be ammonia since it was new water, I always use prime and it doesn't harm them, the filter made enough vibration to oxygenate the water, the…
