Worked great. for storage

Installed ASUS H370M Plus motherboard in x16 slot Installed Samsung 970 Evo Plus PCI 3.0 NVME drive on StarTech card My main drive It has no operating system It only contains data for Adobe light space). it's right in the motherboard's M.2 slot) and I have about 3500 on my 970 Plus which is on a StarTech adapter. Worked great without having to install drivers. No problems with a new PC with Windows 10 version 1903 and all updates from 09/30/19.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons

Worked great. - Memory

I installed it on an ASUS H370M Plus motherboard in the x16 slot. I have a Samsung 970 Evo Plus PCI 3.0 NVME drive installed on a StarTech card. I went into the BIOS after a reboot and the SSD was recognized (it's not my main drive. It has no OS. It only contains data for Adobe Lightroom). M.2 motherboard slot) and I got about 3500 on my 970 Plus using the StarTech adapter. Worked great, no need to install drivers. No problems with a new computer with Windows 10 version 1903 and all updates…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Empty

You might be disappointed. If you just want an extra

. If you bought this (along with a Samsung EVO 960 m.2 drive) expecting it to be able to boot Windows 10 on much older hardware, you might be disappointed. If you just need some extra damn fast storage, that'll probably be pretty cool. Tried to install Windows 10 with a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R Rev 1.6 (2010) motherboard and Windows when Windows said it was "may not be bootable" so it won't install. I saw the drive, the BIOS sees it as a bootable expansion card, but there is no joy. I haven't…

  • Cool
