When I wanted to buy this rocket for my kids I didn't want to because of the bad reviews about the stand. I bought the rocket anyway after reading a "Tool Fan" review that had instructions on how to make a PVC coaster. Kids just love these things. All children are boys and girls, young and old. The kid will try to make it work and even have fun just by trying to download it. Don't bother assembling the fragile yellow brittle plastic pad. This is completely unnecessary and potentially dangerous.
