Our boys love this model making and hobby item

What could be better than rockets flying in the air for little boys? And our girls try not to be so excited at first, but they like it too. This gets raved about by my kids every time we use it. We don't put a stand because it keeps falling apart. We only use tube and airbag. We bought extra rockets as there is always someone trying to stomp the bag harder and higher than others and forgetting to point it straight up so the rockets sometimes end up on the rooftops and in the fields. It's easier

They have redesigned the stand!

When I wanted to buy this rocket for my kids I didn't want to because of the bad reviews about the stand. I bought the rocket anyway after reading a "Tool Fan" review that had instructions on how to make a PVC coaster. The replacement stand worked great but I didn't need it as the manufacturer redesigned the stand! Now with the old foot pump I have extra rocket launchers which is always a plus. A word of advice for those who may be reading this. Placing a piece of cardboard under the airbag…

Almost perfect gift and toy

Kids just love these things. All children are boys and girls, young and old. The kid will try to make it work and even have fun just by trying to download it. Older kids will trample this rocket into the clouds. He's pretty safe, he only becomes dangerous when someone big is around and other people won't give him space. It doesn't even have to be other people - I once shot myself in the face trying to show a 5 year old how it works. It hurt, I won't lie. Another issue is that they don't stay…

Don't bother assembling the fragile yellow brittle plastic pad

Don't bother assembling the fragile yellow brittle plastic pad. This is completely unnecessary and potentially dangerous. Just use a rammer/pump with attached blowpipe and foam rockets; It's all safe. I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter, 3rd percentile height and weight, 30 pounds. She didn't have the mass to launch rockets by stomp, but she could launch them easily by sitting firmly on the stomp. she loved it! We took it to their day care center and all the children loved it too. Now

  • . Nice thing
Cons
  • Hard to say

It's fun as long as they stay together, but it won't last long.

We really enjoyed launching these rockets for 10 minutes while keeping everything together. The base is three thin pieces of plastic that barely stick together, use tape and you can at least stick everything to a solid surface. Otherwise parts keep falling apart, not to mention the launcher keeps tipping over. A more serious problem concerns the plumage of the rocket. The kit we bought must have a defective adhesive or something as none of the fins stayed in place even after one run. A missile…

Grandkids loved it!

Now that it's getting warmer I've decided to give this toy to my grandkids and see how good this toy really is. You were happy about it! I was worried that the "bubble" they jumped on wouldn't last long, but as three kids (aged 5-7) jumped on it probably a few hundred times, it never let me down. I think temperatures below 70 helped - I could see that when it was cold the "bladder" would be stiff and more prone to cracking. I was REALLY impressed at how high the rockets actually flew - it says…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Buy it! The fun starts as soon as it's out of the box!

Stomp Missile comes with a launcher and four missiles; this is the junior version - box size is about 12" - easy to carry around in the car etc. Basically the (foam) rocket is placed on the launcher and then stomped/jumped onto a hovercraft. The launcher can be at different angles placed (just up to 90 degrees). Great-grandfather said that he would give the kids a dollar each if they stepped on the bucket with a rocket. They were very imaginative. A five-year-old figured out how to put all the…
