Received a Huxley watch from Crate and Barrel as a gift from my wedding registry but the ticking was annoying. This mechanism is a perfect replacement for the ticking mechanism it came with. No more ticking!

I liked that I could shorten a set of hour/minute hands by cutting some to fit my watch case. This is a street clock that I liked and couldn't replace. I liked that it was easy to swap out the mechanism and hands.

This replacement movement is exactly as described in the description. All measurements were accurate. The mechanism was easy to install. The instructions were easy to follow. The 3 pairs of hands included cover a wide range of dial sizes. The clock has been running very accurately since I installed it.

Works great. The manual installation guide could be a bit better. You can damage these things pretty easily if you don't know what you're doing. It's very easy to bend your arms when installing. All in all this is a great product for repairing or refurbishing a broken watch. Comes with everything you need to craft or repair except the battery.

Love how quiet it is. Bought this in February 2020 and it just stopped working while hanging on the wall. We thought the battery was dead so we replaced the batteries and checked. But it's just dead. Batteries weren't used according to instructions, just regular Duracell batteries. Might buy again as a movement with sweep is hard to find. If it only lasts the same 3 months I will spend time looking for another brand.

When I first bought this item you could tell the movement was already broken. Maybe it was a return from a previous customer? However, this did not work and the hands could not be placed on the curved shaft coming from the movement. I received a replacement a few days later and it took about two days before the battery completely drained. Tried it with some fresh Duracell batteries with the same result. Two buys, two misses :(
