The maximum fee for this site is 0.2% per transaction for taker and the maximum fee for maker is 0.1%. In terms of transaction fees, bitfinex is almost like many of its competitors.
One of the things that has boosted bitfinex's credibility with users is that in 2016, Bitfinex was hacked and $ 72 million worth of Bitcoin was stolen from its customers. But after a few days, the exchange returned all of its customers' funds.
