Review on KuCoin by Andrew Boyd

According to KuCoin’s main page, 25% of all the crypto holders in the world use this exchange. I’ll admit that I did not check the stats, but it does sound true to me. Simply because this is one of the best crypto projects I’ve seen.







The first thing that you should know about KuCoin is that it’s big. Very big. There are hundreds of listed assets, and the team keeps adding new ones every week. There are, obviously, both the behemoths like BTC and ETH, as well as very niche assets. The trading volumes are always high, so getting a deal is super easy. Never had to wait long for my orders to be filled.







And this is just when it comes to spot trading. KuCoin also has robust futures trading options. There are “lite” options for those who just want to try out futures, and the “pro” options for those who are ready to go deeper and are interested in higher leverage.



Speaking of leverage - KuCoin does not have strict limitations like some other exchanges. You can get up to x10 leverage for margin trading and up to x100 leverage for futures trading.



All of that is especially great when it is combined with very low fees - only 0.1% for spot and margin trading, which is significantly lower than the global industry average. You can also drive the fees lower (and even turn them negative) by holding the native KCS tokens and maintaining a high trading volume. This way users get new levels, which change both taker and maker fees.







Not feeling like actively trading? No problem, just use the trading bot. There are both short-term and long-term strategies - you can just choose the one you like, invest your assets and leave them to grow.



Not feeling like trading at all? Also not a problem. Just use any of the other features of the exchange. For example, you can lend your crypto for up to 2% of daily interest. Or use any of the many staking opportunities. Or you can practoce the high-yield mining with low commissions in the new mining pool. Or simply invite new people to the platform and get 40% of their fees as commission via the affiliate program.
