Missing parts best in the air intake

parts missing an L-shaped bracket four washers six screws see what K&N is doing to this K&N box a quarter of the box was crushed product was ok except for missing parts . Luckily I've done this many times over the years, the instructions are terrible as are all the videos they take explaining to the public what size bolt, what size washer.

Pros
  • Ongoing test results
Cons
  • Negative present

Good replacement for the factory air intake

Installation took about 3 hours. Some steps could have been done earlier instead of in the order in the instructions to save time. My box didn't include two hose clamps, but I managed to get the ones that weren't included. Right now my gas mileage seems a little better and I definitely have more power when climbing hills. Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Bad impression

Simple upgrade I should have done sooner

Delivered quickly and on time. The shop installed this on my 2016 Jeep JKU because it gets too cold in New England in January. They said it took about 45 minutes. Approached, accelerated and immediately heard and felt the difference. Definitely more responsive from 0-40 mph. I then decided to fit a new dual Magmaflo exhaust (also purchased from Revain) to my Jeep. What an upgrade. The muffler and cold air intake combo was a great upgrade. My jeep sounds like a beast! Will be updated in 2 months

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Expensive

Poor design quality of plastic parts

Example: plain design, 1.3mpg better on the highway, husky design when pressing the accelerator, no real noticeable horsepower changes, image for fitting is ok, could be improved a bit , would help to mark the screws for better use so that they are used in the right place. Dislikes: The plastic vent tube broke on installation, despite the warning in the installation docs. If this is known to have happened, why not redesign the hose or adapter! Support sent a replacement, unfortunately I waited…

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Modern

Great product, not great instructions.

Product works great. Instructions are nonsense. It doesn't mark which screws/washers go where. It depends on the exploded view so you can figure it out. There are many videos online showing this setup, but they don't help with the difference between a screw, bolt, and washer. If you can patiently identify these parts, this is not a difficult setup. provided the appropriate bolts/screws are available. mine weren't. I was given too many screws by one guy and not enough by another. I got it…

A bit awkward with missing parts but worth it in the end

Unsatisfied, poor quality control by K&N. Much of the hardware was faulty and missing, resulting in installation times being much longer than expected. The installation instructions were kind of awkward too. The worst part of the job is the crankcase breather hose. They want you to put a 5/8 hose on a 3/4 fitting. Won't happen, quick and easy fix, use a standard crankcase hose and buy a porter fitting part number 47080 and 2 hose clamps. Save yourself a lot of time and make it much easier for…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Does what it promises.

I installed this on my 2017 JKU Rubicon about a month ago. Assembly is easy for the most part, but I didn't have the specified nuts and bolts so I had to improvise a bit. You should use one type of bolt and not mix what I consider to be cosmetically attractive bolts and other hidden connecting bolts. Mixing bolt types and bolt lengths seemed unnecessary (they all have the same thread/size) and added some installation confusion. Another issue I had was reconnecting the crankcase ventilation hose

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Band
