Why make a thread that only fits a hammer. I do not understand that. They would sell more if it was for everyone. send mine back

Didn't work well for me, used a slide hammer with a vise attachment instead. After an hour with it and constant slipping, I switched to a vise mount and later removed the CV axle.

Thickness puller Too thick to fit between the constant velocity joint and the New Beetle gearbox. So I couldn't use it. But it screwed well onto my OTC hammer and seemed well made. But if you have a small gap between CV and transmission, this part will not suit you.

My Volvo had an axle stuck and nothing could free it. I bought this tool and it finally removed the damn axle. This axle was so rusty in the gear teeth that I seriously wondered if it would ever come out. I considered leaving the bowl there and just swapping out the innards and boot. This tool really saved the day!

Having used this for a job I can't think of any other way to get the job done. The tool is of very high quality, there are no signs of deformation. It fits perfectly behind the axle. No more pickle forks.
