HORRIBLE Warranty/Customer Service

This product is great as long as it works. I had it a little less than a year. The cord/plug is EXTREMELY hot when I use it now so I'm afraid to use it now. I've used other electrical devices in the outlet, so I know it's not the outlet. Also, the drip tray seems to have melted (it's on the back of the unit) so I can't remove it to clean it. Bought the extended warranty. have contacted her They said it looks like Cuinsart is still under warranty. I've been trying to reach her for a week (I…

High-quality device, should last a long time

This is definitely a nice upgrade over your stock George Foreman grills. I've used it about a dozen times now in the few weeks I've had - cooked fish, burgers, chicken, steak. Pros - I was impressed with the preheat time and how it was able to maintain that temperature throughout cooking - something my old GF grill couldn't do. Cleaning is also easy. Cons - My main complaint is when you levitate the top panel in the closed position and then open it. The top plate is positioned in such a way…

But cooks well. for indoor grills and pans

I have used the Griddler several times in the few months that I have had it. It does an excellent job of heating and heating evenly. I've only had two problems so far. When cooking chicken breasts, the top platen will come off as it should so that the platen is level with the breast. However, once you lift the top plate, it doesn't snap back onto the hinge, resulting in grease or drips not getting into the grease drip tray on the back of the unit. To fix it you have to press on the heating…

NOT RECOMMENDED - Electric Grills

This is my first negative review of Revain. I was happy to have an all for all pan but I was disappointed. 1ST EDITION - I had to return it after first use when I realized you can't cook scrambled eggs without them immediately going down the grease trap. This confuses me - why would I want a more expensive frying pan with separate blocks that can't cook both eggs and bacon? Just note that anything with a liquid consistency CANNOT be cooked in this pan. 2. PROBLEM. After the 2nd use, I found…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Can't remember

Great product. There was a smaller Cuisinart that had different temperatures between the top and bottom cooking grates, a single temperature control for both. Replaced by this deluxe model. It looks stylish as others have written. Features I value: 6-way adjustable floating lid, separate upper and lower temperature controls. Ranges from 200 warm to 450 high + 500 drying mode. The higher wattages on this model made a big difference and so far the temperatures on both regulators are the same at…
