It's durable and stylish, and its features are easy to use. The flat surface holds the fabric well. Has the function of needle up/down, automatic needle threader. My new Sparrow is the jewel and heart of performance at a "great price". It does everything I ask it to do, just like my expensive car. At only 13 pounds she's perfect when I want to and sometimes just follows me around the house. Nice stitches (big problem with tricky quilting) and her lovely little 1/4 inch quilting foot holds that line every time. Yes, I had to pay an extra $30 for an accessory pack that pushes it to the limits of the Sparrow 25, but it has enough stitches to hold 13 pounds…

I bought this machine thinking it was made in America, it was very light and the price was good for a machine that I could use at sewing events for a few hours a month. I was very disappointed to learn that the car was made in China. The stitches are good, but the process is more complicated than necessary to change the width and length.
