Description of 🔧 Griot's Garage 10862 Complete Compound - 16oz

Micro abrasives effectively remove swirl marks, water spots, oxidation and other defects. Incredibly user friendly application and 1 pass wipe off, safe for all automotive finishes. Supplied for my needs

I used this to polish some minor blemishes on my 9 month old machine using only a cordless drill with cheap 3 inch pads used. And I have to say it works. Well as I said these are very minor scratches/damage to my car so I have no idea how aggressive it will be for moderate scratches. For what I needed, this connection delivered.

Better than others I have used

I used to use a Turtle Wax product which to be honest is a lot cheaper than the Griot. Griot's gives slightly better overall shine results but cuts runtime by half, which is very important to me. I've used Meguiar's Ultimate Polish in the past and it's very similar in results, but Revain only offers it as a supplement at a lower price. If you're not buying it as a supplement, Groit's is cheaper. I still think the Griot is better, but by a very small margin.

Exceptional product at a reasonable price

*Update: 02/27/21 Second bottle purchased. Used by hand and with a DA polisher as a final polish prior to ceramic coating. Really gives shine and cleanliness. Easy to use and smells good. The car is also with ceramic coating.----------------------------- ------- ----------------------- ------------------------------ --- ------- ---------- ------------ -------- -- ---------- ------------ After searching Youtube and watching many videos about the best surface polish, I found a video titled…

Works as advertised

I've tried this both by hand and on a random orbit sander/polisher and found it works as advertised. However, I also tried Griot B120P BOSS Correction Cream 16oz using the same machine and pads [orange foam and microfiber] and decided I prefer the correction cream formulation for its excellent creamy base and very long [unspecified?] shelf life. Both formulations were easily removed with a microfiber cloth after application of a catalyzed, cured, clear polyurethane automotive finish. I've found

Buy a higher quality product. Check out my update in my review.

I used this composition yesterday at the request of the customer. I used a DA with an orange cutting tip. Started at slowest speed and finished at speed #5. Not even the smallest halos or transparent meshes were removed. The product is very thin. Like even water. It removed very little oxidation. But even the oxidation took 3 passes. Maybe I got a bad bottle from a bad lot? I do not know. I simply had to persuade my customer to go with 3M. Never again. To be honest I've always read positive…

I researched got this product and am very happy with it

This is my first time using any type of polishing paste, a little nervous, read 1 million reviews of many products and decided on this one and I'm glad I did! I did occasionally have small scratches after a few wipes, but for some of the deeper ones you'll probably need a heavier abrasive compound. But I tell you, it sparkles! I didn't remember how much "glitter" there was in my millennial silver paint on my old 4runner! He's in great shape and good looking but he's always been either outside…

Griot's Complete Compound -- Beautifully Restored Ancient Chinese Table

Purchased after seeing an evaluation from a professional auto repair shop and their recommendations on this polish and techniques. Application: A roommate was watering a tree in his living room (don't ask) and casually splashed water on the table behind him This Chinese carved table is antique and rare, with a lacquered finish. The resulting water stains were terrible, I thought it was a total loss. Other polishes removed some of the worst stains and blemishes, but that wasn't enough. I figured

Very soft polish

I have recently bought a used Honda car which although in good condition still shows normal signs of use with light scratches and spots on the red paintwork. I've only used Complete Compound once so far, but I'm quite happy with the result. I applied the compound using a 6 inch random orbital polisher with an orange Griots foam pad. Removing the veil from the joint required little effort; I found that a light spray of a re-wet product like Speed Shine helped remove it. I think the compound's…
