I was very disappointed with how small it was once assembled. But it's my fault for not checking the measurements. BUT… I can still use it just NOT for the tarantula like I wanted at first. Also, I'm not sure how well it's sealed. But I plan to use it as a small greenhouse.

The vents allow small feeders through, but with the added mesh this is the only micro housing I have found to fully seal and keep the feeders inside. Pets who like to climb the highest point because it helps them handle it. I just put my hand on the edge of the lid and let the mantis crawl on.

Small clear acrylic box as advertised. The recall that you can't see through it most likely didn't remove the acrylic protection, which is very clearly stated in the product description and photos. So I read some reviews on this product before spontaneous purchase because I wanted a jumping spider. Both spiders I caught escaped from the container.
