I'm surprised the jacket fits so well but then again I was hoping to get a slightly larger jacket so I ordered 5-6 for my 5 year old son but it fit perfectly! lol oops! I will definitely be giving him a winter in Alaska to see how he holds up and if he behaves well I will continue to order jackets from them for my family of 5! So far it has been a great jacket and definitely thick!

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this jacket. It is very well made with faux down on the torso and sleeves. According to my grandson, it is light and very warm. It goes great with little room to grow and wearing layered clothing underneath. The sleeves have cuffs to keep out the cold. Very soft and comfortable.

I got this for my 6 year old to grow up with. It is 6/7 tall. I'm a size 9. Now it fits my son although it's a bit big. He can wear it well this winter! So be sure to order one size larger. The coat itself is fantastic! This is really great quality! Comfortable knitted cuffs in the sleeve. And a nice flannel inside. This is a really good winter coat. I ordered for my almost 8 year old who is 4ft 3" and weighs 58lbs. He usually wears a size 7-8. I won't wear it for a few months. I decided to go ahead and order 7-8. It fits very true to size. There's plenty of room for layers. The only possible problem I see is that the sleeves are too long. in short, when winter comes in a few months. He likes that it's lighter than his previous winter coat and said it's very comfortable. We recommend both.

I ordered this jacket for my 8 year old. I ordered a size up to allow for the layers to grow and it fits great! He likes how thick and warm it is, but not so much that he hates wearing it. This coat is so exceptionally well made that I can't do without it. Every detail is perfect and it's just a quality part. It looks like a $200 jacket. The color is great and the fabric is great. The outside is made from 100% organic cotton, while the inside of the hood is soft and lined with Sherpa. The inside of the jacket is half flannel, half Sherpa. This is a very beautiful coat. It fits my son perfectly. My son is 12 years old and weighs 70 kg. It's a bit long compared to my son's height. But I think that's because my son is small. He's 4'4". I love that it has a soft plaid sherpa flannel lining on the inside. The color looks the same as in the picture. I'm glad I found this coat for my son. It will definitely keep my son warm this winter. The shape of the coat is beautiful. The design is chic. I would recommend this coat.

My son is 6 years old and wears a size 7. I'm a size 7/8 and it's too small for him. His size 6 jacket from last year fits just as well as this one. Although I like the material and it keeps him warm. The length is good too, I just take one size up to make sure your kid doesn't outgrow it before the winter season is over.

This jacket is amazing! Very high quality sewn, all seams are even, there are no threads. The inside of the jacket is made of felt and sherpa lining, very soft and warm. The sleeves have cuffs to protect against cold and wind. The zippers work well and all the buttons on the cuffs work as well. My 5 year old is very happy with his new winter coat! He said it was so comfortable that he wanted to sleep in it, which of course he couldn't do as it's still summer! Haha! This jacket is so heavy and warm. Inside the jacket is a fleece lining. The arms are also thick and well padded. This jacket has only 2 pockets and they close with a button. My son is 7.5 years old and weighs 75 kilos. The only thing I think about this jacket is that the material is not waterproof enough if you wear it in wet snow. Perhaps spraying with Scotchgard will help. Otherwise it is perfect for very cold days.

The jacket is beautifully made. It is a beautiful barn red color and looks like it will see use for a couple of seasons. However, my son was a bit disappointed that the jacket was too tight to wear. My son is a bit sensitive to fabrics this time of year and seems to really want to enjoy this coat. There should have been information about correct sizing, not age ranges. Go up in size, especially if you plan on layering.

My grandson needs this jacket in our southern climate. This is a warm fleece jacket, but not too warm. I really like the sleeves and that was an advantage for me. It zips up with buttons in case it snows, otherwise we just zip it up. I also like that there are no drawstrings on the hood. It's also a nice neutral color.

This is a warm, mid-weight coat. Runs small compared to the size chart. My son is 8 years old and this coat fits him perfectly and he is a skinny size.
