A valuable purchase, some advantages!

All portable means of fixation that are on our roads (lasers deserve a separate topic) are taken by Valentin stably and in advance. For everything else that is not taken (radarless systems "Avtodoria", "Avtohuragan", the radar complex "Strelka") or is taken, but late (radar complex "robot"), there is the androyd-strelka program. You can connect a smartphone to it to set up the radar detector and expand data output using a bluetooth adapter. With its help, for each signal source, you can see…

Pros
  • Detection range. The arrows on the panel indicate the location of the radar. It is possible to output data to a smartphone.
Cons
  • I knew what I was taking and what I was paying money for, so for me there are no shortcomings in this device. Although, I would not refuse a spaced device.

Overall good, but expected more.

There is a lot of advertising for this model on the Internet, especially on forums. I wanted to take the best, but it turned out that one cannot do without disappointments - in fact, nothing special. Even if you don’t take into account that this is a huge coffin and the distance at which it takes the radars is by no means as cosmic as they described, it’s not clear why there are a lot of squeaks, to be honest, I expected better for the money :( After the purchase, I read that it does not…

Pros
  • Indicates the direction to the radar. They say the laser takes well. Type and prestigious .
Cons
  • Big and overrated. Does not define all cameras (

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

I have been using it for exactly 3 years, during this time 1 fine from the middle of the bridge across the Don, where: ". well, no food, there can't be a camera there ." - maybe. After the purchase, I checked, did not trust, the results: I took hand-held hair dryers (old ones) up to 4 km, tripods in the forward direction up to 2 km, and those that yell in the back for 500 meters and do not allow to accelerate at the end of the settlement. There is a problem with the arrow, which is sad, but…

Pros
  • Detection range, direction and number of sources, not Chinese quality factor.
Cons
  • Does not see the arrow, works on the laser on oncoming cars

Well made but parts are missing

Four stars instead of five because two of the six screws were missing. I think I got a refund as it was partially assembled and one of the screws was loose and not packed with the others. It matches my 2017 Chevy Colorado mirror. Seems solid enough, although I'm always suspicious of ball and socket friction setups. However, there's nothing a little Loctite can't fix if vibration is proving to be a problem over time. Luckily I didn't need the longer screws (probably to attach them to the thicker

Pros
  • Complete mounting kit including device clamp.
Cons
  • weak

Revain will sell returned products as new suction cups

The first thing that caught my eye was the LPN RR label. This means it was bought and returned earlier. Whoever put this in the envelope to mail it to me must have done it manually and intentionally, bypassing any automated scanning systems, as the return label completely obscures the regular inventory barcode. some. The parts that were there were clearly used with a heavy load. The threads of the knurled screws are badly worn. Flexible mount bullets had notches and flats. Most of the hex…

Pros
  • . No more problematic suction cups.
Cons
  • socket required

Great mount but not perfect

RadarMount (Las Vegas, Nevada) for Valentine1 Gen2 is a good mechanism to mount this particular radar detector. This setup was installed on a 2006 Honda S2000 Type S. V1 Gen 2 represents the most advanced technology with long range, sensitivity and filtering capabilities. Unfortunately, it doesn't have GPS capability. RadarMount holds the V1 Gen 2 securely in place and has enough degrees of freedom to position it perfectly under the rearview mirror. The materials (like the adjustable clasp…

Pros
  • Radar Experts Agree Best Place to Mount!
Cons
  • old
