I signed into a ToolHound account (https://www.toolhoundinc.com/) to borrow a few bits and pieces to complete a job. After setting up and logging in, I selected the tool(s), then the part of the job that I needed to complete. While doing this I added notes, pictures, videos, descriptions of why the particular tool helped me along the project timeline. This was easily done while checking out the item, no additional steps necessary. Once checked out I received an automated confirmation message confirming that the transaction was successful.  I also received text messages when the items arrived safely back, with delivery instructions. Additionally I received a reminder notification after 24 hours, so I knew not to wait longer than that before calling customer service. Notifications are provided via phone calls and emails. The system offers unlimited free shipping on most purchases; otherwise shipping costs start at $4.00. If you select 'free shipping' option it ships within 48 hours. My order shipped in less than half that time



It seems like everywhere you go now to buy new tools, equipment or supplies you have to pay a ridiculous shipping fee. If you're just going home to get the right tool then good luck trying to figure out whether it's shipped direct or through another location. I've used many online sellers over the years, both local and international brands, none come close to the level of convenience of using the toolhound marketplace. You'll also see products listed here that aren't available anywhere else; think of it as an expanded version of Amazon.com!





Toolhounds are well stocked and organized. Very helpful staff who can provide advice about the items they stock without making recommendations. It’s easy to request something on line and pay for it by phone or internet. Shipping charges are fair.

This app helps me organize my tool box into three categories; right for the job,right hands,right now - My favorite part about this app is it gives me immediate gratification when I go online to order the right "tools" that fit my needs. It also lets me keep track of those tools that come home after completing the task at hand using its tracking functionality.I never forget something important, it reminds me of it in real time. All tools have a serial number associated with it which helps me locate them quickly and easily when needed.
