Okay, let's get this straight, you're buying a gaming monitor for less than $200, so don't expect all the bells and whistles. Still, this is one hell of a panel for the price and performance. I haven't calibrated everything to my liking yet, so I'll probably write another review later. Having previously purchased monitors from Scepter I can honestly say that they are reliable and deliver what you would expect from a company that has a solid history of selling computer displays. Out of the box, which was fairly impressively packaged, came a monitor stand that immediately fell in love with the matte black metal, which felt solid from the start. All the screws for the mounting and base were included and were easy to fit with the screwdriver provided, Zepter gets big points for that because sometimes you just can't find the right screwdriver or some may not have one. So kudos to you. Now moving on to the panel lovingly wrapped in a fun screen protector that's always fun to take off, come on you've gotta love this movie. So it was a breeze to put everything together and although it does wobble a bit if you accidentally hit the edges of the screen, this type of stand will do, so don't worry as it will hold up the screen for a long time. Turning the screen on went straight to the glowing red Scepter text and my computer was there, icons everywhere, but then again I had a much smaller and much cheaper 20" 75Hz Scepter screen that got the job done while I didn't splurge. money for this beast. So after some icon tweaks, color tweaks etc I finally found a comfort zone with this panel it's still an adventure but playing on this thing is a beast. Don't forget to enable Freesync in your settings monitor and graphics settings with Windows and your graphics software. Make sure you select 144Hz through DisplayPort (recommended) or HDMI 1. Then you can play, and this screen is designed to do just that. I would never go back to 60hz or my previous 75hz just because you have to buy it to find out. And for aesthetic reasons, I never noticed the LED backlight with the red S lettering on the back. Pretty sharp Scepter pretty sharp now do the next one in RGB So in short gr eat monitor great value affordable budget and a style that suits any configuration.
