Description of Waterdrop Sediment Filter 50 Micron Molybdenum

This Filter System Works With Wholehouse Water Filtration Systems, Undersink Water Filtration Systems and Ro System. 【Automatic back wasching】Waterdrop WD-PFA whole house water filter doesn’t require manual flushing to work. It features the innovative automatic flushing function, saving you time and stress while ensuring your water filter is flushed automatically. You can choose 7, 15 or 30 days as automatic flushing interval period. If needed, you can flush the system instantly by simply pressing the button. This ultimately prevents the clogging of the filter mesh. 【First line of defense】The durable stainless steel filter mesh resists corrosion. The 40-micron pore filter size allows the sediment water filter to effectively intercept large particles, such as sand and rust, protecting your home’s water supply. 【Prolongs water facilities' lifespan】As the first line of defense for your home’s water filtration system, the sediment filter protects your pipe from rusting and prolongs your home water pipes and appliances’ lifespan. It also makes them more efficient; for example, it enables your dishwasher to provide even cleaner dishes. 【Break-free and explosion proof housing】The housing is made from food-grade materials. It has been tested under 400 psi pressure without crack or external dent whatsoever. The reinforced construction is quite durable. 【Include multiple components】Two push-fit plumbing fittings come with the spin down sediment filter, thus you don’t have to extra purchase it. We provide you with four types of screw threads to connect: 1“MNPT,3/4”MNPT,3/4“FNPT and 3/4” push-fit plumbing fitting. Three built-in AAA batteries last up to one year.

The product appears to be well made but I will update this review later so you know how it holds up. I encountered two problems with the purchase. This product comes with a registration card with a QR code that promises the buyer a free gift if the product is registered. This is when things get interesting. This is the third time the manufacturer's registration page is missing the model number of the product I'm trying to register. Therefore I cannot register this product at the moment. The…

Washing uses a lot of water!

So I just installed it. It can be that simple, as is the case with all "Shark Bite” style fittings. The real problem I had was this: I accidentally hit the flush before I was ready. I grabbed the nearest Sterlite bag and it filled up quickly. When putting or draining, make sure you have a good sized bucket, maybe 5 gallons. That being said, I think this device will be great, it just needs to be tracked over time.

Pros
  • Enable multiple components
Cons
  • Unsure
