Great litter, the best in the terrarium Litter, sand and substrate

I use it for the Hermann's tortoise and it works great. He's ready to leave his habitat and I just keep him moist by spraying him with water from a bottle. I'm more in the corners where he likes to sleep and snuggle up on cold days.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Only available in black

BAKING BAKING BAKING! - Reptiles and Amphibians

This is great for my Northern Bluetongue Skink baby! I mixed it with eco soil and it turned out great! I reheat it at 205 degrees F in my oven for about 45 minutes and let it cool to kill any mites that might be there. Otherwise it's perfect! And I only used one bag!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I will add later

Clyde loves this substrate.

The most important thing is whether the animal likes it. I have a very picky funny Russian tortoise named Clyde. I tried everything but he chose this one, not me. For me it's easy and simple to deal with, keep clean and change. Smells and looks very good too. We are both very happy with the underground. This is the best!

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

The best substrate I have ever used.

My substrate for all my snakes. It is easy to clean, has better identification of feed/urates, retains moisture well and for a long time, does not get into water bowls as easily as coconut shells, and looks better in aviaries than coconut shells. I have used ALL types of substrates and when I used Forest Floor I was happy. It's a lot cheaper here than in store if it's in stock. This used to be a 2-24 liter bag offering too and now it's only 1 bag. It's a little disappointing but I will still…

Excellent product for wet digging animals. fly sometimes.

I have bought LOTS of these. My bluetongue skinks and tegus love it. I like that they are already wet, but flies are quite often a problem. I can then fight them with "flea, tick and tick spray" with proper ventilation before I put them in the terrarium. Baking works very well for decontamination but with the amount of bags I only use for an 8x3 foot tag cage. no option. No strong odor or stains. As I said, I have bought many of these and will continue to do so. Not perfect, but I'll keep using

  • Well built
