I expected more in my review

I really wanted this product to work. It was fairly expensive and unfortunately not what I've come to expect from an ADC product. The hose from cuff to manometer is too short, making it awkward to place on a patient. And because the gauge and inflation bulb are one piece, the size of the inflation bulb was sacrificed. This would normally be a pro as opposed to a con, however, it made the bulb difficult to effectively squeeze. My hand always seemed to grip the gauze part as well. Making…

Pros
  • The instrument is designed for optimal user safety, with no sharp edges or corners
Cons
  • Inconsistent reading results

Highly recommend on my review.

I am a nurse and use this on all my patients. I love it! So easy to use and good quality! I highly recommend. I get compliments from other nurses on it all the time.

Pros
  • It is compact and easy to store, taking up minimal space in a medical bag or cabinet
Cons
  • Poorly made

Easy to use, Not great in low light

I am a retired O.T. I use this cuff several times per day to monitor my wife's B.P. Accuracy and consistency are important to me. This cuff is lighter and easer for me to use than the separate bulb and gage type cuff. I have bilateral Carpal Tunnel so the trigger release seems easier for me to use than trying to regulate a screw at the end of a bulb. I just wish that they would have increased the contrast of the gauge numbers so that I could see them better in less than ideal light. I still…

Pros
  • OPTIMIZED: Adult nylon Adcuff with Size Guide marking system helps prevent miscuffing; fits limbs 9"-15.7". Not made with natural rubber latex.
Cons
  • Difficult to transport

I love this cuff in my review

I really wanted a cuff with the gauge in your hand, so that you can read it no matter the position or angle the patient is in. My fellow students were jealous and want one too! Much better then the kind that you have hold the gauge and pump and fumble to hold and read at the same time. Fits nice in your hand and easy to control the release valve. I feel its very accurate.

Pros
  • WARRANTY: Includes Lifetime calibration warranty and three-year system warranty. Assembled, inspected, and packaged in the USA.
Cons
  • Too bulky and heavy

Only time will tell.

Large, cumbersome, plastic and cheap feeling in hand. OK starter palm style setup. Seems to work as designed. In my opinion, Durability could set off cons.time will tell.

Pros
  • The included ADCuff Cuff is designed specifically for use with adults, ensuring accurate readings
Cons
  • Time-consuming to assemble

It's worth it on my review.

I take blood pressures on a daily basis in my job. My company provides cuffs but they are low quaility and awkward to use.I owned a cuff similar to this one a few years ago and used it until it wore out. I decided to make life a touch easier and purchased this one.It seems to be accurate. The two features that are most important are that you use a trigger and don't have to twist anything. The other feature, and the best, is that you can hold the dial wherever you need to since it's in your hand

Pros
  • The gauge features a large dial, making it easy to read even for those with visual impairments
Cons
  • Requires regular maintenance and repair

Never going back. for my opinion

As a home health RN, I have high expectations for my diagnostic tools. Portability and accuracy are a must. I have been using this BP cuff for several months and will never go back to the old school cuff.

Pros
  • The ADCuff cuff is highly durable, resisting wear and tear over time
Cons
  • May cause discomfort for those with sensory sensitivity

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Definitely makes the job easier.

However, I question the quality of the bulb, the release trigger, and the plastic "luer" slip connection point for the cuff to the gauge. I think that the connection point was very poorly designed. It's hard to tell if it's in far enough to create a seal and it feels like it will break if forced. I highly doubt the longevity of this piece, especially if inserted and removed regularly. I don't know why they didn't decide to go with a screw-type connector, and perhaps metal instead of cheap…

Pros
  • The instrument is easy to use, even for those who are not trained medical professionals
Cons
  • Outdated technology

good cuff, convenient use

This BP cuff works well for quick and accurate reads. You will have to practice using the trigger for accurate reads. The bladder itself is of very high quality material. The dial and balloon in one piece takes all the fumbling out of play. The whole handpiece is very light but durable. The dial is easy to read and the crystal is very clear. Easy to use in right or left hand-but again, you have to practice using the trigger release; it take finesse and getting use to.

Pros
  • The ADC 703-11AV is portable, making it ideal for home use or travel
Cons
  • Unattractive design

Use this every day as an EMT. the handle ball could be a bit easier to squeeze (the flat bottom is the culprit) but the trigger mechanism works great, and I LOVE that the handle unplugs easily from the cuff. This means I can leave the cuff on a patient for repeated BP's, an they don't have to have the weight of the handles on them. Having the dial and the valve fit in one hand makes it much easier than finding somewhere to clip the dial to a patient. Overall, solid piece of equipment.

Pros
  • The instrument is suitable for use in a variety of medical settings, from clinics to emergency rooms
Cons
  • Poor quality materials

Great BP cuff! for my opinion

I am an RN for 20+ years, currently doing private duty, so I need a good cuff. My sphygmomanometer that I bought for nursing school started giving inaccurate, low readings, so I had to replace it. I did lots of research and decided to go with this one. I love it! It is easy to use, accurate, and folds into a small carrying case. My current patient is a retired MD and he is a fan of it as well!

Pros
  • It is compatible with a wide range of cuff sizes, allowing for versatile use
Cons
  • Mediocre quality

Get it! You won’t regret it.

I absolutely LOVE this BP cuff! It’s so convenient not only having glw in the dark numbers but also not having to clip on the gauge and fumble with multiple tubes. Worth the money!

Pros
  • The ADC 703-11AV can be used in a variety of clinical settings, from hospitals to nursing homes to private practices
Cons
  • Overpriced

Convenient and functional

The cuff is easy to use and accurate. Hasn’t broken down like some of the critics described in the previous reviews. Just treat it with respect as with anything else and the blood pressure cuff will take care of itself.

Pros
  • The instrument is designed to reduce the risk of contamination, with easy-to-clean materials
Cons
  • Large and unwieldy

Awesome Cuff on my review.

I take Vitals for a living and even as a Volunteer Fire Fighter outside of work. This BP cuff is awesome, I hate having to mess with tubes and balancing the meter while taking vitals with other BP cuffs. This Cuff has saved me a lot of time and headaches. very well made. wouldnt change a thing.

Pros
  • The sphygmomanometer is easy to clean, with no cumbersome parts or small crevices to trap debris
Cons
  • Limited customer service resources

Loved the other one I had gotten so much I .

Loved the other one I had gotten so much I got this one for a friend. Mine is a bit different model, but mostly the same. Be careful with your plastic connector. I left mine connected all the time and would just toss it in my nursing bag. No concerns or cautions used, beat it around pretty good and it was after a year it finally broke. Just order a replacement piece and it's all good again.

Pros
  • It is a high-quality choice for accurate blood pressure readings, with a range of features to ensure optimal patient care
Cons
  • Unable to connect to other healthcare management software

It's very easy to use, read and understand as well.

I just received my ADC Diagnostix 703 Palm Style Aneroid Sphygmomanometer with Adcuff Nylon Blood Pressure Cuff, Adult, Purple today. I have used a couple of times and seems to work very well. It's very easy to use, read and understand as well.

Pros
  • The sphygmomanometer is easy to read, with clear, large numbers on the gauge
Cons
  • Requires frequent calibration

My preferred style of sphymomanometer

I got one of these to use in my office. I prefer this style of sphygmomanometer because I can hold the pt's arm and my stethoscope in place with one hand while I pump the cuff with the other. I feel like you have to be an octopus to manage all the parts of the traditional sphygmomanometer and keep the pt's arm at heart-level.

Pros
  • The ADC 703-11AV is a trusted choice for medical professionals around the world
Cons
  • Inconvenient to use during emergencies

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is one mean cuff

I am an EMT working 911, and this blood pressure cuff is the best, it can attach to the disposable hospital cuffs, and it can be deconed and is reusable as long as it doesn't get saturated. The one hand mechanism, trigger release, and large dial make this the best bp cuff i have ever used. quit cheaping out on something you use dozens of times a day.

Pros
  • The ADCuff Cuff features a comfortable fabric that does not stick to the skin
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with different cuff sizes

Really nice piece of equipment

I bought this for PA school and it is very handy. The handle design makes it really easy to take accurate blood pressures - which is really nice when you first start out and are fumbling around trying to hold on to a million different things while your patient stares at you probably wondering if you know what you're doing. It's a bit on the expensive side, but I thought it was worth it - you probably will not have to replace it any time soon.

Pros
  • Diagnostics & Screening
Cons
  • Not durable

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Poor design: my feedback

This worked well until I dropped it. The plastic connecter piece at the end of the tubing inserts in to the base of the handheld bulb. The plastic piece broke off inside the bulb and appears to be stuck there forever. Now it is unusable and the piece will not come out. If there was a different type of fastener device it would be great. I will not be buying another, can't afford to replace every time its dropped.

Pros
  • I use this daily in Home Health. I love it. Makes a big difference being able to hold it in your hand!
Cons
  • Not well made
