💦 EXTRAUP 1/6 HP 1370GPH Portable Submersible Utility Pump for Efficient Pool Cover, Basement Flood, Drainage & Water Transfer Review

I use it to empty my ducks paddling pool, it doesn't suck well and clogs very easily. Started smoking after 30 minutes so unplugged for a while.

Bought 8/2020 and used once for a few hours. Will be needed again 20.11. Worked for 5 minutes and turned off the GFCI switch. Plugged into a non-GFCI outlet. Worked about a minute and stopped. Won't run anymore.

I bought this pump to descale my water heater and it was very easy to use. You just connect your hoses and plug in the pump and it's on. I also plan to use this pump to drain rainwater off my pool cover while the pool is closed.

Don't waste your money on a water heater flushing kit. Just buy the items separately and save about 1/2 the cost. This pump fits easily in a 5 gallon bucket and the flow rate is great for flushing the system. zero complaints.

Choose this pump for annual use when flushing a water heater. Also bought some regular wash hoses and along with my own 5 gallon bucket and vinegar solution everything worked great. Be sure to run some baking soda and a clean water solution through the pump after use.

I wanted to use this pump to clear out standing water in my basement after a storm. The depth was about an inch. The pump refused to pump and just sucked air. It acted like it was an internal problem so I loaned it back and bought a different brand. Great pump price and your experience could be better but I have concluded that mine is defective.

I got this descaler pump from my water heater. I did a great job. I needed a slower pump to get the vinegar through the system. it worked great. Unfortunately the pump was too powerful for one of the seals inside the tank. The leak it was causing disappeared when I reconnected the tankless water to the city water. I might add a valve on the outlet side to slow the flow even more.

This pump was used to flush and clean a tankless water system. Went like clockwork. No need to spend $90 on some of the pumps advertised to get the job done. This is more than enough to propagate solutions throughout the system. Some kits even cost over $200. For this pump, combined with the tubing I needed, I think I spent less than $50, including distilled white vinegar for flushing.

I have used a tankless pump for seven years with no maintenance. I noticed that it doesn't heat the water like it used to. I read the reviews and decided to do it myself. With a 5-gallon bucket, two wash hoses, two gallons of white vinegar, and an extra-up pump, I got to work. Leave on for 1 1/2 hours. The vinegar turned from clear to milky blue. After draining the vinegar and limescale, I ran the pump in clean water a few times to flush out the vinegar and clean the pump. Willing to do this…
