Telescope function does not work

I like this part for its stability on the freeway; However, this main attraction is completely non-functional. Even if the rod nut is loosened, it will not lengthen or shorten no matter how much force is added. Not sure why my product is so stiff as every other JKS trackball I've seen works perfectly. Pretty disappointed. A fixed trackball would do the same job for half the price.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Useless functions

Great for an increased YJ

This is an amazing item. Replaced the stock '93 YJ swingarm with approximately 3.5 inches of travel. 2.5" spring and larger caliper. So here's the best part. Proper geometry between axle and frame literally settled the entire drivetrain. Especially clutch engagement, smoother holding under acceleration and a lot less frame movement. Oh, and the handling has been guaranteed and smoothed for a long time, especially on bumps and at speed Def recommended for your YJ

Runs Like a Champion - Spare Parts

Runs like a champ. Easy to attach and easy to unlock. I have a small key just for unlocking. The only problem I had was it going on with my elevator. After the lift was installed, I began to sway a little in the steering wheel. It wasn't until I was riding the bike that I unlocked it and it popped out. It was under stress because a new elevator had to be installed. just know Also, make sure to lubricate it before using it as directed in the instructions. Please trust me on this.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some bugs

Looks good, check the thread pitch on the nuts provided.

The screws were supplied with a different thread pitch than the nuts supplied. The instructions say the nuts are nylon. The ones I received weren't nylon and had the wrong thread pitch for the screws. Almost cut the bolts and ruined them. Luckily I had nuts with a more correct pitch at home. Also, mine had silver tips instead of the red ones shown in the photo. My order was shipped and sold by Revain. Not sure why the different colored ends.

Great product that delivers

Many people claim that the trackbar is useless. With the Jeep raised I had to remove the OE cross member. Since I drive more on roads than trails, I've found that the lack of a trail makes the Jeep "weird" when hitting bumps in the road. Installing this caterpillar eliminated this problem (at least for the front axle). When I'm going off-road, being able to loosen the nut and add some articulation is a cool feature. The product is very well made and easy to assemble. The only negative comment I

Namely, the ends were silver metal, not red like in all the ads I've seen.

I ordered this item through Prime, however there was some inconsistency in the product description, namely the ends were silver metal not red like in all the ads I've seen for the JKS 9800. I called JKS and spoke to Jeff who goes to the guy specifically for the JKS 9800 and he said they never built this product with silver ends. Also, I installed the tie rod yesterday and it has already started leaking on the chassis side. Avoid those that broadcast through GA's Prime. Edit: I removed the panel

I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ITEMS FROM JOHN'S 4x4 CENTER

Poor customer support. I received a tie rod without two 1/8" collar spacers and with a mounting bolt and nut that appear to be the correct size but are not compatible with the other bolt and nut combination. The shorter bolt is lower quality, has a regular nut and no matching washers, while the longer mounting bolt is higher quality, has a self-locking nut and the required 5/16" flanged washers along with their 1.85 . " OE spacer for struts. There were no installation instructions so I had to…
