All tested well, actually QFN ICs, no epoxy drops

In light of previous reviews, as soon as I opened the box I stuck each one into a breadboard and ran a basic test. I can't say if they meet all specs, but they work in the main modes, at least at close range, with no visible differences from other comparable modules purchased in the past. Also, all the boards I received had QFN ICs on board, none of the epoxy blobs that anyone has supposedly gotten in the past. This allowed me to graft one of the chips onto a custom PCB using a hot air tool…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not the best

Great product but a little difficult to use compared to other parts of the breadboard. Once I figured out that these radios are sensitive to "wire wiggling", everything works as it should on the prototyping board. Very good product for average users.

Pros
  • Great for me

  • Some cons

Works perfectly! The best in computers and accessories

Works as advertised. Use on Arduino with TMRh20/RF24 library on GitHub. Using it for a bunch of sensor nodes powered by small LiPo batteries, so turning it off most of the time and waking it up regularly to transmit is a good thing. I have a range of around 15-20 feet in my house and it is very dependent on module placement and orientation. If range is important there are versions with a SMD antenna and one with a power amp + SMD (with higher power consumption) and I will try these for my…

  • Handsome

Works perfectly! Good quality!

Works very well! Everything came in excellent condition, in very good packaging, everything is sealed in anti-static bags. I like the quality. The seller was very helpful. I really like using these RF modules.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • No instructions

Fun and versatile little radio

Fun and versatile little radio. This radio is built on a chip from Nordic Semiconductor. It has many features and is highly customizable, which can also make it difficult to use properly. It offers automatic acknowledgment and automatic retransmission of relatively small data packets (up to 32 bytes) with CRC for error detection, supports over-the-air data rates from 250 Kbps to 2 Mbit/s, and reliable transmission between multiple devices on the same network. I ran two sets of tests with these…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

I love these little modules

I love these little modules. They seem to have a very useful range. They work surprisingly well through multiple walls. I haven't tried higher transmission settings (only LOW) and still the modules could communicate perfectly throughout the house (many walls).

Pros
  • I look forward to
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Works well, arrived quickly

Works well, arrived quickly, prices comparable to places like ebay. The blocks have no pin markings, not even grounds, and I don't see any documentation, so you'll have to spend time looking up pinouts online. Luckily, these devices seem to share a common layout, so the internet has your back.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Great price, great product, great service

Great buy! They arrived quickly and were individually wrapped in anti-static bags so they were very easy to take out and plug in straight away. Using RF24Network+Mesh I was able to build a mesh network fairly quickly and they seem to be very stable for my particular application. I ran it on multiple platforms so I bought it and haven't encountered any issues so far. I definitely recommend it for low power projects with a permanent mesh in a small area.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • No paint required
