📀 Magnavox MWD2206 DVD/VCR Combo Player Review

So far so good. I like the simplicity of the work. I used it for the first time last night to overwrite old videos on my computer's hard drive. I used Roxio software and adapters. Everything worked great. I was pleasantly surprised that there was also a DVD player in the room. I did not expect this. The DVD player works great too and I can even play it right on my computer to burn DVDs! What a plus. Very satisfied.

I had a bad experience with this seller. Today I closed the case about the dispute. The first car didn't arrive so I was offered a replacement. The machine that arrived worked for the VCR but not the DVD. This was for my special needs son whose everyday life revolves around certain DVDs and videos. My roommate used his old video player to help me set up two cars with a switch system. I'm not the type to give bad reviews but I think it's fair.

I ordered this for my mom who has a lot of VHS so that was my main goal of buying a combo player. However, we only recently unwrapped it for her as she has health issues that prevented us from trying it sooner. To my dismay, the VHS player didn't work. He ate two tapes and I had to fight to get them out. Needless to say we were very upset. Now I want to buy another one as I can't return it. Lesson learned, take the time to test the product as soon as possible!

I work at a remote campground with limited WiFi and no cable TV. However, I do have a few boxes of old favorite VHS movies and a shelf of DVDs.
