It was definitely an improvement over the range it replaced. I didn't comment on the ease of installation because although the measurements were correct to make the cutout the right size you still need to hire a professional to install it but it didn't take long.

This hob was easy to install as a cardboard cut out template was provided. The hob came with a regulator and required special fittings that you will need. I like that the burner grate (3) fits into the recess in the base and is easy to clean. No need for little rubber feet. The hob looks like it could cost twice as much!

First of all this hob is not very strong, you will find that after opening the box it is light and not of very good quality. Also, it's a little short in width leaving a small gap, which may be normal for some because you won't notice it after installation, but there could also be a good chance that oil or water could get into this gap . so that you can check the seal from time to time should this happen. But it was easy to install.

We love this powertrain in our Sprinter. It was a bit more than some of the more generic stuff we've seen, and we got a lot of compliments on it. It is very aesthetic, safe and sustainable for my pots and pans. Husband installed and said it was easy - checked the leak with soapy water. I love the safety features and how easy it is to cook and clean. I'm so glad we spent some extra money and I will definitely buy it again. I think it really enhances our small kitchen!

The instructions say to hold the button down for 1-2 seconds. after firing the burner - well, no closer to 5-6 seconds in my opinion. before the gas stops.
