Not as accurate as digital versions. Would recommend a digital temperature/hygrometer sensor instead of analog. Use this for travel / foul weather tank for 2 reptiles. If you're hoping to use it in a reptile enclosure for a long period of time, look for a wireless digital reader.

I want to say that I am very disappointed with this product, I bought it to be able to measure the case for my Pacman frog but the hydro thermometer is always from the side of the case dropped because it got too wet or too wet for it to be glued. I bought these specifically to control the humidity in my ball python tank. They seemed to work for the first two weeks I had them. The other day I noticed that the humidity readings on both sensors are low. I attached one to each end because I know the humidity will drop a little faster on my hot side.
