A New World Decentraland

Decentraland is an Ethereum based virtual reality platform. It appears as a platform where users can develop virtual reality applications and access other applications.
It allows to freely do things in designated plots in a three-dimensional virtual world.
Its management and use is entirely owned by Decentraland users.
MANA is Decentraland's cryptocurrency. It is used to purchase parcels called LAND within the Decentraland platform. The spent MANA tokens are burned when LAND is purchased in exchange for MANA. Therefore, while the MANA produced increases, the number of MANA in circulation will be much less than the total number.
The number of LANDs in the virtual world is limited, so they will remain valuable. The height of the buildings to be built on these plots is infinite. Adjacent lands can be purchased and associated, larger structures can be built.



Pros
  • You can build an apartment, a pharmacy, a plaza, a stadium, a hospital, a school, your brand's head office, anything you can think of, by combining several lands into your LAND. You can even make the landscape yourself. In the virtual world, you can create a car dealership with your own virtual brand and sell the vehicles in the gallery. You can push the limits of your mind.
  • The land content layer enables the processing of content on the network in the virtual world in a decentralized distribution manner. The real-time layer allows users to interact with each other by providing peer-to-peer connectivity. The intellectual property layer protects land ownership and content with Ethereum-based smart contracts.
  • With its agreement with Ripio Credit Network, the P2P crypto lending network, Decentraland has enabled its users to receive mortgage loans against MANA. After completing the loan application form, a MANA guarantee of at least 10% of the value of the property from which the mortgage loan will be withdrawn is required to purchase. After this collateral is provided, the platform brings lenders and borrowers together. Two different smart contract-based MANA and RCN projects, both of which are based on Erc-20, can work with each other without any problems.
Cons
  • Virtual lands in Decentraland were sold at the first sale at 1000 MANA each. Currently, there is a volatile market and the prices of lands vary. Currently the lowest land or parcel price is 4.350 MANA
